I have been there and I understand the struggle and frustration very well. For many years my approach to achieving and maintaining a healthy weight was based on control, restriction, deprivation, and pushing harder. This led to uncontrollable food cravings. The stress I put on myself inevitably led to emotional eating. Just when I found a little reprieve and caught a glimpse of feeling good in and about my body, I would sabotage my efforts and good feelings.
For years I struggled. Motivated by my desire to end the misery and find peace, I learned a lot. The path I have traveled and the healing I have experienced inspire my passion for helping those who suffer still with food, weight and body image challenges.
Among the many strategies and tools that I have learned and applied to my own life, and now teach to my clients, Modern Energy Techniques have had the greatest impact in achieving results. These processes have been invaluable tools in helping me to make peace with my body and food, stop the self-sabotage and finally step into my life in a positive way.
The powerful techniques and practical steps I apply and teach have empowered me and the people who are called to work with me to make the choices that reflect self-love and self-respect not only in relationship to food, weight, and body image but in all areas of life.
